Re: How're you spending your summer?

Summer time is go go go season for me. Concrete foundations 10-14 hours a day, 6 days a week. UO sore and tired at night time. Nice tan, tight pecs abs and biceps and more money than the rest of year. Only outside fun for me is sunday in yard with kids and wife and the odd sunday paintball match. Me...

Re: Tekstone is back?

Mass numbers doesn't make a religion. Tekstone is a smaller specialized religion and not meant to be a huge political power, but more a dark wave of a dark wand over things now and then and then gone. RP'ers make tekstone look and feel the way it should to others.

My two cents anyways

Re: Obsidian steed success rate

"never used to fail" does not apply here. Simply stated the code around the skill does not allow for perfection even at 115/115 you will still have a very small chance to fail making obsidian, and a chance to fail making the steed. No matter what your skill level in any skill, and/or what ...

Re: Obsidian steed success rate

High end craftables will never be made at s high % of success rate even at 115/115 you will fail. Of course the higher skills increase ur chances of producing said item without failure. 1500 sand does not equal 1 steed. This is only true if you never miss making a piece of obsidian from the GLASS an...

Re: Myths about game mechanics

Dolphin is the best material for snooping gloves, sea serpent hide only seemed like it worked well (chaos theory).

They don't last forever, that's for sure.

Re: Myths about game mechanics

What Repsak meant and failed to elaborate on I am sure is exactly what I said. A cook cannot mine "better" then a smith because of their lack of skills to do such.

Had he been more specific or felt more explanation needed he would have clarified.

Re: Myths about game mechanics

- Smiths are better for mining than cooks, even though the skill is 100 for both. Status: Probably true. Arms lore may be affecting it. I have gmed a smith and pushed a cook's mining to 80+, there is no difference in failures, gains, or amount mined. Mining skill is just that, mining skill. "Bl...

Re: The official FxCK YOU thread

*face palms* This thread is first and fore most funny as the first few posts are all drunken/raving and look like BORAT typed them up. Seriously, what kind of broken english is all that? I think I managed to glean the original intent of the post as follows: A forum thread to openly feel how you real...
