You got a point and I put it in practice. Like I said on my post in shard announcements, I just never tried it because the config file specifically says to use an IP address.

It was tested and it works, but we'll be paying attention to this since it can be that players still experience connection problems at the moment the IP is renovated and updated.

If they have issues they may need to clear their DNS cache or perhaps reboot their router (if it acts as a forwarder). Perhaps even change DNS provider if this provider doesn't update their DNS fast enough.

Server crashed. Was messing around in storm level 2 when it happened - last time I was in storm level 2 this happened as well - wondering if there is some kinda bug there.

I've been trying to log in but nothing, is shard up or down or have I got something wrong with my settings? Can we have something on the page that's able to indicate if shard is up or down?
