Magic: The Gathering

[Nerd On!]

Anyone ever play this card game? I recently started playing it again with a group of 5-6 other friends. We get together once a week and play for hours. If you yourself play, please feel free to leave your deck's listed here. I could catch something nice myself and build something around it. I normally build decks based off a theme. I just sold over 8000 cards to a friend last year too for $350. Now I'm getting back into it, I regret such actions. I also have a Vampire themed deck (60 cards) that's been scaring my friends so much they gank on me every freaking time. Hahahaha. Not with this deck though, nu uh!

My Wizard Themed Deck:

This is my newest 75 card deck I just purchased last week for around $60 Canadian. I'll have the first game with this deck tomorrow night! Found out there's a sweet local store I can order online and it's cheaper than E-Bay and most other stores around here, plus I don't have to pay all the shipping fee's just $1 shipping for all these cards! I don't have the land/mana listed here. Just the main cards of the deck. Normally I only play with 60, which is the legal limit in tournament play. I designed this one to be higher since my friends normally use the same amount. Being the first to deck death because I had the lowest amount of cards among all, I had to upsize. Especially when my friend plays his grindstone deck which makes me discard and die. :P

I only play commander/edh nowadays so I'll post a couple of my decks I've put together. Some are more fiddly than others but all in all I play mostly esper colored decks as I have three of those decks each with their own flavor and uses.

Zurtec
This is the deck I play if I want to win, I took out some of the more "mean" cards like Mana Vortex but this deck plays well in 1v1 and multi-player scenarios as it has a lot of versatility. Tabernacle still needed for this deck so if anyone wishes to get one for me for all the macro work I've put in I'll even take a foreign one.

Lachesis, Clotho and Atropos
I need to update the deck list I believe but this will give you a feel of what this deck is. This is a deck about control and copying and thieving. It's currently my go to deck I play most often as its fun for me. My play group groans about some of the stuff in here as you might imagine.

Sharuum the Skulduggerous Wretch
My attempt at an artifact deck, it's not the greatest in the world and my least favorite deck of my three esper colored decks but it's OK to play from time to time and is full of various combo goodies but it needs a rebuild, suggestions welcome.

I'm currently working on a rat tribal deck and a Zedruu deck entitled Ameritopia named after a book about the misguided efforts to create a utopian society from leftists and how disastrous these "utopian" societies were and are for their citizens so that deck will be a political deck which will gladly share cards with other players which will ideally lead to their downfall. For me it'll be a mtg presentation of why big government and more importantly socialist ideology is a complete and utter failure to those who have to endure under those policies, Ya I'm a strong conservative, Cruz all the way!

Other decks I have is an elf tribal using Freyalise as the commander and a Rafiq deck you can see if you click on my username in the links above, the elf deck is not posted yet. All my esper decks are double sleeved but I need to double sleeve the elf and rafiq decks. I only double sleeve after I've play tested them for awhile and are happy with the outcome.

I'll point out you might give tcgplayer a look it's where I order many of my cards but lest we forget it's a good idea to support your local game store. I buy predominantly from tcgplayer since I use a lot of older cards which don't come up very often and thankfully here in San Antonio we have a few gaming stores which I shop at when I can particularly the one that's within walking distance of my house.

Tcgplayer is nice since its a marketplace modeled website so you're a customer to potentially thousands of card shops or individuals vying for your custom.

I do play it as well; Mostly EDH/Old School (Yes, I got a deck costing well over €20.000,-) and draft/sealed :)
Granted, if wanted I can post some pictures of my old school deck

Although I could do without their Social Justice Warrior crap they are putting into the game, but that is what locusts do I guess, jump from field to field destroying everything in their path until there's nothing left but an empty husk.

Just wonder what is next on the list of things I enjoy for the Social Justice Warrior movement, they are on a search and social engineer mission, they do not care if what remains is successful or not, just as long as they get their messages in there.

I play this a lot less often than I used to, I can't keep up with the releases and only buy singles here and there when I want to build a new deck and with the discontinuing of the From the Vault line and other choices Wizards has made, see above but others as well, I am slowly just losing interest.

I just want to be able to play a game without any social engineering, the fight for equality in the LGBTTQQIAAP community, which by the way is no more a community than the CJM community is in any middle eastern country save for one, or insert any other cause that the SJW community fights for, it is just disgusting that organizations bring on board any ideas from this group considering the money losses entire industries have seen since these guys have crept in, oh well, I guess companies need to lose a larger amount of money before they realize the general public does not want this shit pushed on them cause I don't know about the Eurozone but the masses of people in the United States are getting more and more tired of this stuff.
