Monad wrote:Book would be simply following the same logic as any other special abiltiy or spell or rite on the shard. We don't have necro spells, bard songs nor druid spells as "simple" dot commands either. ;)
+ RP.
Ares wrote:Powerwords would be implemented obviously.. The point is that if we ever want to expand it, we have to come up with yet another .dotcommand. Dotcommands suck! Books rock! (more work for scribes too)

Vote Book 2012!
I can see why dot commands are leading, way easier for players, but these guys are both right!
Bring on ze warrior book of knowledge!

Why would i want to "read a book" while i fight?

No offense, but i'm more up for the dot commands.

Everything else has pretty much been sayd, but it also depends on the function of the "spells" you two are working on.

But still, do think of not overpowering the warriors - Barbarians are downgraded already...

Fighters should read man. The Art of War, De Re Militari and Vom Kriege would benefit them.

dunno if you already decided, but definitely dot command. books are for magic. warriors are no mages. assassins don't chant magic words from books to do backstab either.
