Warrior's new abilities

Post by Monad »

There is coming at least two (and maybe more in the future) new special abilities for warriors once we have agreed on the details. Question is how do you wish to see them functioning.

Option 1 is simply new dot commands which enable the abilities.
Option 2 is a skill book which you need to get from a scribe or vendor before using the abilities with powerword or from the book (basicly like rites and spells).

Dot command is simple.

The book is a horrible idea.

Dot commands are simple and easy to make macros for.

Book is cool, but unnecessary.

Book would be simply following the same logic as any other special abiltiy or spell or rite on the shard. We don't have necro spells, bard songs nor druid spells as "simple" dot commands either. ;)

I take it both options are possible as both options are up for poll.
I always prefered .dot commands as I make macros for them.

But in the end both options are okey. But I prefer the .dot one.

Regardless of the function, a book isn't needed. Either you chant with a book or you use a dot command. The result is the same.

So for the first time in the history of the shard - Darian and I actually agree on something.

Powerwords would be implemented obviously.. The point is that if we ever want to expand it, we have to come up with yet another .dotcommand. Dotcommands suck! Books rock! (more work for scribes too)

Vote Book 2012!

The moment we have 10 skills to implement, lets do a book. Creating a completely new book with 2-3 skills is as useful as a cock-flavored lollipop. One dot dommand and one new item does the same.

Vote for .dot command!
