For the first time you were actually funny. Congrats.

If there's only 2-3 "spells", then definitely a dot command. However, if you're planning to add more in the future, then you might as well start with the book.

I voted for the book.

What I understood of the idea was something similar to this but working with stamina instead of mana?

dot commands
i understand the logic of rp, but i don't see the warrior's thing as a spell or something that would require words to be said or something.
that's why i'd rather have the dot command instead of the book. books are for magic and things you have to read.
unless these abilities are none of those, dot command wins (for me)

Book is the same as a tome. You either click the desired spell or shout the powerwords.

Dot command is as simple as a dot command is. Besides a command, there would be an item for a warrior skill (sharpening).

If you vote for book, it's the same thing as voting for Romney.

Alright. I wanna go for the book now.
I wanna see what my enemy does. (Powerwords shouting)

I change my vote to book.

Im with you in this one. I don't want warriors to "cast" anything. They should have moves and skills, but shouldn't be forced to speak any powerwords.

Unless, of course the warriors are all Dragonborns from Skyrim.

Warriors are not casting anything. The book would be simply a visual interface to the warrior's battle/fighting abilities instead just a dot command.

I always prefered .dot commands as I make macros for them.

But in the end both options are okey. But I prefer the .dot one.
Powerwords would be implemented obviously.. The point is that if we ever want to expand it, we have to come up with yet another .dotcommand. Dotcommands suck! Books rock! (more work for scribes too)

Vote Book 2012!
Having powerwords for warrior-like moves is too much like Pokemon or something, i.e having to say smth before ya make a special move. Come on :P

Never tried Pokemon (I think I'm too old), so I have no idea what you're talking about.
