I think this proves that staff should decide this alone. Then players just have to deal with it.

Agreed. They are the ones suffering from it. Half players want yes and half players want no so... We should respect their decision.

honestly, its good the GM's listen to the players but to make the right decision I think it has to be largely the GM's stearing the ship as well. They know the mechanics better and know what will work best with no agenda of their own. And democracy sounds nice, its "fair" but its a terrible way of deciding yes or no to something if you want the best results.

Uncertainty of robberies and pvp belong into pangaea, by restricting game this much it will be close to useless to have whole robbery system at all to begin with.
As i've stated before there is no place on pangaea for non-religious factions due religions being too op. Which is clearly the reason they are so popular.

Not to mention if people were forced to choose, what if in theory they chose their robbers instead of their religion chars? That means you can't call anyone for help anyway, because they are no longer part of the religion.Grolik Lognar wrote:So whats the problem? As mentioned earlier, it's not about outer but inner problems.
Robbing is a natural part of the game. People lose gear and they're pissed. You simply need to deal with it. When meta-gaming becomes a factor (legit or not) - that's when shit hits the fan. It's like a cancer inside the religion and it's always been the same; in the past, last year and even today.
So perhaps the question is - how should religions solve these inner problems themselves?

They should figure them out themselves. That is the whole thing about being in a religion, you choose what religion you want based on roleplaying and the perks that they get knowing you are going to be placed with people you might not get along with. Even law with not having robbers can have this issue when it comes to thieves. The only metagame that can come from this is either A) logging on a map which is optional or B) telling someone what you are doing which you should know who you trust/like in the religion. Either way this isnt an issue that needs a rule considering it has been going on since the start and the shard has kept turning.

I voted yes, for the sole reason that Robbing is like a different part of Pangaea.
Considering the problems causing towards the shard we should seperate the "robber world" from religions so we would have;

Actually makes a lot of sense, but would make more sense if we had a larger player base sadly.
