Simple yes / no.

Opinions and comments are welcomed.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.

I don't think it's that big of a change.

It simply gives more protection to the body and arms (due to coverage).

i'm not a fan of these votes. i dont think most of the players are able to give unbiased opinions or even really think of how it would effect the shard as a whole.

so.. probably most players with a baba will vote yes..

what i gather is its a popular class (which means lots of yeses =/) because its solid and well balanced how it is (plus isnt it already the hardest hitting fighter + 85 healing?)

problem is that us players want badass characters of our own, and everyone elses to suck. i dont think that ambition is going to point pangaea in the right direction.

butttt, i trust you GM's arent solely making decisions on these votes.. but it is up to you guys to know whats best, regardless of what "we" want

Yes, I don't think barbarians are as OP as people think, and this certainly wouldn't be much of a boost any how.

If the change was over the top, this poll would not exist.

To me it's more about getting rid of hybrid sets that don't make much sense. An official barbarian set consists of ringmail, chainmail and plate. A standardized set will only have a positive impact in the loot pool. If you're wondering about the differences, here's a few examples of common tunics:
  • Invul chainmail: 23 AR
    Invul ringmail: 16 AR

    Drock chainmail: 26 AR
    Drock ringmail: 18 AR

    Dskull chainmail: 29 AR
    Dskull ringmail: 20 AR

    Scarly chainmail: 19 AR
    Scarly ringmail: 12 AR

    Dspine chainmail: 18 AR
    Dspine ringmail: 12 AR

I personally liked how "different" the set of a Barbarian used to look.

A proper combo managed to get pretty decent protection but it was always rather weak against the physical hits AND elementals system.

Barbarian set gives more elemental resistance than chain suit, doesnt it? So how its weaker elemental resist wise. But all by me, give them the chain tunic.

And what happens if you add ringmail sleeves to a chainset?
