Sure, but a pointless update is pointless. In such a case we should ask ourselves, are we trying to boost a class or simply standardize metal sets.

Proper data on the difference (full chains vs. full chains /w ringmail tunic) is welcomed.

at least have damage interfere with the regen and the classes might be somewhat balanced again.
Taking damage already interferes with the natural regeneration.
perfect, i was told otherwise

Pointless fix, there's something else to be nerfed on the second day after this change for the class.

Even tho, they could use full chains.

The only valid perspective is barbarian-warrior and how those two classes are in balance with each other.

There's nothing wrong with the original idea. The only reason behind 'why not' is 'not enough of a difference' making the update useless.

Sum up: test and get data. If it's a useless update -> think of something else.

Seems like your trying to fix something that is clearly not broken, just how it seems to me.

PS. This isn't bulletproof data due to randomness of raw weapon damage (based on dice)
PPS. Consider this as directional data.
PPPS. According to directional data - full chains aren't the answer.

To me, that test leads me to believe barbs should just use full chain and that plate needs a boost (not ar wise, but rather ar-mecanic wise).

And based on the post you just posted, they should use full chain for the sake of normalizing armors, not boost wise.

The difference between plates and other armours is just ridiculous.
