How to minimize bad player experience?

After a long discussion between me and Argon, about how to make new player experience a little bit better, we immediately got to the same conclusion, "robbers around Britain/despise make the new player experience to suck".

Everybody has been there, you are happily farming despise and get out and you are surprised by a bunch of a fully trained gang, ready to gang bang you and it doesn't even matter what you say to them.

To address this problem me and Argon came to different solutions.

Anything you guys want to add? What would you do?

[you are allowed to change votes and this will run until the end of the month]

Despise is already a no-pvp zone? Why does that need to be extended? Players with gear worthy of robbing/killing for don't hang around despise anyway and if they do, they can take the fight. Won't affect new players.

Players that know the shard, not the ones that know nothing about it.

And is to create an area from Britain towards despise, so that they feel rather safe to walk a bit outside Britain. There is a lot more world still to game.

The idea of rogue guard is imo too keep to RP perspective and not a "new rule"

Wait for oldschool Telborea to come back and see what happens (Quoting Boris; Telboreas duty is here to kill playerbase).

But if religions come, what happens to Britain, stays neutral town and noone can touch this?
That "new player experience would suck if you get robbed", to be honest despise aint much of an experience, you grow out of it in a day and seek for open area cool monsters, still get ganked if you meet wrong people. Imo making despise not-killing zone turned people (even heighten ones) hunting there and making quests all the time :D

Quests could be taken out of Despise if that's an issue.

I said if that's an issue, but that's not the topic. Lets see what comes out of this poll and we work from there.
