Lumberjacking

Post by Diam Larkei »

I have been training Str with lumberjacking cloth lately and I have the impression that it gains dexterity more than Str.However, when someone fails a check while doing so, this folk gets his str dropped and not dext.

What is your impression about this lumberjacking str training?
Don't argue with idiots. They drag you to their own level, then beat you with experience!

I agree I think dex goes up just as fast as str when training lumber, and if you are going to get str dropped for training then I think that str should gain faster with it.

110 to 175 str in 6 days.
During the traning I droped my int down to 1 and my dex was at 90-93 when I was done.

I barley gained dex during the last points of str tbh, but I also tought that the str traning would be harder and take longer, so I was shockdly suprised.

And now I suffer the consequences of Lucius having 175 base strength :( lol

I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the ordeal of meeting me is another matter.

That fight was an example of UO's randomness. I was watching, yelling "why doesn't he hit? WTF?". Kenyon was hitting all the time, pretty hard from what it looked like. And then something happened, and Antony started hitting... and then it was over.

without no lifing it takes 7-8 days 6-10 hours playing each day to train it from 130-175

Aswell with sparring it takes a month from 120-160 with 4-10hours training each day

Its not as fast as you might think...

Anyways i think its good as it is and it should be upto luck which one it drops dex or str ;>
