I wont stop, there's at least 5 to 6 of hide types for resistance armors but the all elements need a look.
That's one reason why druids dont PvM.

Clouds and Whites are just too rare/hard to obtain.
We still need something lesser/easier to obtain - Just like vampire bones at wrong.

I used the red and black daemon, usually the OP ones that were magic too.

I believe there isn't really a fix for studded in the market, it is what it is. Usually just go with the high armor studded invul. Is there a set with high armor?

Other thank monks I believe AR should be lower than plates etc, that's the basic idea that magic users cannot tank.

Elemental resistances are capped, so there's not much that can be done. Maybe add different effects to the studded sets... I'm not a studded user at all so I can't comment other than I want to look fancy some times in town lol

they still wouldn't tank given the fact they don't have healing (except monks) and staffs don't hurt as metal weapons do (and wrestling it's 1 tile)
rp wise studdeds should give less AR, but then, there has to be something there to make up for it.
i think most studded should give less AR, but i think that studdeds made from giant and dragon hides should give as much AR as the best ore no?ffs, you're protected by dragon skin!!!if it makes them dragons protected against swords and maces, it should give some protection to a player. dragon scales?

osi has armour called dragon scale armour. witch is made from dragon scales that dragons drop. they look like brains but armour is the same as tek guards. and its not medable. should we add this? no idea
