Granting Tekstone Veritas wouldn't make them any better PvP-wise, they'd still be on the same boat. As it would replace Keening, it would mean they would roll with Veritas and GA. Swarm and PW can be used, but they're ment for PvM. Comparing that setup to Nature would be more or less identical: Veritas and EP. Swarm and EW can be used, but they're ment for PvM as well.

Imperial would not differ much from these two, expcept in a defensive / home ground position where they have Guards and Solitude. It's also good to keep in mind Imperial's still missing something that can be a gain in PvP. As for Law, they're setup would still go over the other 3 religions with Veritas, L-Aura and Malleus. In a defensive / home ground position they would have the same gains as Imperial: Guards and Solitude.

How would it change the scale in PvM? Not really at all. Nature should still have the edge, followed by Tekstone.

I have read all the roleplay on the official website about religions I did when I first joined the server and have done so when they are changed. My view is that tekstone/dennac wants to destroy nature adding to the undead world, you put undeads to rest removing them from the world then you are undoing all that dennac wants.

It would make us better pvp wise if you just keep the silence in there. If you can silence your opponents it will stop the veritas spam and sooner of later there would be real pvp. During the short while I was Imperial a few years ago when fighting against Law that's the first thing you; did rush in and drop a veritas so they couldn't cast rites then you melee'd them down with scepters = the way pvp should be. So giving us veritas would change everything for the better. Veritas is without a doubt an offensive rite.

Also from what you just posted that would fit perfectly into how repsak set this shard up for pvp and pvm no?

Biggs, biggs, biggs... why did this topic go to this. For the last time the beauty of Tekstone's RP is that we have only one goal: Destroy Gaea. We do that with any means necessary and as long as we're on that path, Dennac doesn't care even if we played cards with nature members as long as we have a plan and a goal. We don't care about nature itself, about trees or whatnot, we hurt "nature" because it's what Gaea loves. Trees grow, flowers blossom, people born and die even without Gaea, because it's the natural order of things. Dennac want to hurt Gaea and see his sister dead by any means necessary: Being that allying with Law to get an easy access to Gaea, being that constantly plaguing everything to annoy Gaea, being that attacking their temple day and night to weaken Gaea, being that framing members of Gaea's order as murderers and criminals to weaken their position in Law's kingdom, being that corrupting Gaea's followers to join our cause... we use any, means, necessary.

Who gives a shit about undeads?! They are just a worthless tool.

[Edit] A few guidelines written on the web-pages about how Tekstone is often SEEN by the outsiders is not worth the history of 10 years written and played in the actual game. It might say on the web-pages that we want to bring Armageddon, but by whose point of view? Your armageddon is not our armageddon. Some say that the fall of Britannia would be the end, we say it's the beginning.

If it's a global rite, you can determine yourselves what it does. The main reason for removing squelching is simply because there's too much going on for 30 mana. A simple 30 (or more) area damage makes at least a tiny bit more sense than squelch+heal+damage. The only downside for Veritas at the moment is the fact that it burns foci like a mothertruck.

Remove the heal bring damage to a cap at 40 in pvp and keep the silence because I see that as the thing that would the current state of pvp where people group up and spam it.

Would definately remove it from religion vs. religion. Could stay in religion vs. non-religion.

In order to be less spammable, add more mana consumption.
