The story of The Third Night

The First night of the world would have lasted forever had it not been for the split of the worlds.
When the first light broke upon the first day there was The Bear of First Light
While The Bear of First Light lived he was given Twins
First the Hawk of Second Light The one who would bear his crown
Last Chicken of Shadow, Born in the Shadow of Second Light

The Second Night of the world took Bear of First Light
Hawk of Second Light shone bright
Chicken of Shadow grew dark

The Third Night took Chicken of Shadow
The first to pass before his time
The first to pass without child
The first to pass into The Third Night

So it is said that the Children that Chicken of Shadow did not have, await those who cross to The Third Night
They await as all children do, with smiles on their faces
and hands waiting to embrace


This is why the folk across the sea wish unto each other the most welcoming of embraces from Julatrias children
This is also why they hold contempt for anyone that mistreats a child.
